This town is renowned for it’s many traditional restaurants, bars and twice weekly market held on Tuesday and Sunday mornings.
On Thursday evenings many of the bars and restaurants participate in the Pinchos Route, where you can wander the cobbled streets and sample wonderful tapas and skewers with a glass of wine at very reasonable prices.
There are many banks, a first class butchers, numerous bakeries, two large supermarkets offering local and international produce along with fresh meat and fish, chemists, boutiques and a petrol station.
The 7km Sandy beach of Port Alcudia is a five minute drive away.
The house accommodates up to six guests. It is accessed via large wooden doors which lead to the open plan ground floor.
The owners have taken full advantage of the original stone walls and double height ceilings to create a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The air conditioned sitting room has a large sofa, satellite TV and high speed internet. The dining area has a beamed ceiling, glass table seating up to six guests and is open to the high spec kitchen.
The kitchen is a wonderfully light and open area with a beamed ceiling. It is extremely well equipped. It has a breakfast bar and direct access to the delightfully quaint patio.
Outside areas are rare in the old town so we are delighted to be able to offer our clients this added luxury. The patio is furnished with a further dining table and chairs and is the perfect spot for al fresco dining. There is an awning offering shade when needed.
Close by is a cloackroom with hand basin.
Upstairs the mezzanine floor offers a superb bathroom with a full tub with shower over.
There is a double bed in the first sleeping area. The second sleeping area is equipped with twin beds and has a study area which overlooks the gound floor.
There is an annexe which is accessed via a spiral staircase from the patio. Here the owners have maximized the impact of the original stone walls to great effect. The bedroom has a kingsize bed and offers views to the patio and out over the roof tops. This bedroom is served by a en suite shower room.
This house is a very unique hidden gem and which comes highly recommended.
